Cheat

Who makes this story after all?

Are they the customers? Yea, it was a demand-creating-supply theory. When there are people like me who would like to have night fast food, The yellow arch company would be more than pleased to host their restaurant for a 24/7/356 basis. They see that the demand are not just from me but also from many people, as I have seen that night, who want to play iPhones, revise for exam and sleep outside their home (or if they consider McDonald's their home anyway).

Therefore, they need more people to work. The mid-aged woman is just one of them.

But wait: are we bound to go to McDonald's instead of going elsewhere?

In the past, no. There are indeed many places available for us to hang around in case we feel our stomach is empty or our we don't feel alright in the night. We can get some congee if we feel hungry from 大排檔, not necessarily getting a hamburger.

However, as our local restaurants were eliminated by the housing estate giants, all we have left are just some few international companies which can afford the rents in the shopping mall. We have nowhere to go.
