Cyborg

The first kind of cyborg that came to my understanding was from Dragonball. Of course, the cyborgs in that comic were the enemies and designed to lose the battle with the protagonist.

Another cyborg that came to my mind was the Raiden in Metal Gear Solid series. He was almost invincible by doing so.

It looked like I have to become a cyborg to survive in this world. Maybe I can just simply by conquered by a computer and let the computer live for me.

Maybe it's actually happening. How can we be sure that are really living with our own will? The Matrix story is compellingly impressive and it is more difficult to design a theory to rebut it.

Maybe I am already a cyborg.

Hot

Can you feel the heat? Its almost conclusive that this year, 2016, will be the hottest ever.

I am weary and sweaty every day going back to and forth from work. I do not want to do anything else except staying indoor and close my eyes. I can't imagine what can happen next year, which we can expect a hotter year.

I can't imagine what will happen tomorrow as well. People 50 years before probably expect a better tomorrow that people can enjoy more about their living. We can have more leisure time and we don't need to get worried about the day and the planet. The opposite is actually happening.

Can you tell me a reason for me to go on? Life is really getting tougher and tougher and I can't see a better day ahead. More hopeless and desperate I have become and mood goes down , as the temperature climbs up.

Can you tell me a reason for human to go on? Can you?

a cuhk student came to the news because he had his diseased heart replaced by a healthy heart, with a so called cardiac transplantation.

he wanted to stay alive and we wanted him to. The current medicine can make this happen and we have no doubt. All we hope and wish is that nothing really complicating can happen. He will complete his study, and enjoy the life with the help of physicians, with all the best wishes.

but then what can replace a broken heart like me, i have a lot of doubt and i wonder if it can be amended at all. Is it a curse or a viral infection, that I must suffer from the shortness of breath and dizziness. I should remain as a robot and do not devote the heart to suffer in this mortal world. this mortal world!

My boy, if you want to get the heart of me, please come and get it. Just prepare to get the curse too.

Darkness

Knowing that my knee was still loose, and failing the forthcoming exam seems inevitable, I could not see the light from the end of the tunnel. Life is gloomy these days.

I switched off the light of the corridor leading to the quarter. It was nothing but like the time I had with Brian during hiking. That rainy night that both of us had to get the water from the supply, and the rain kept falling down in the dark. That was one of the greatest challenge in my life.

And we survived.

There is nothing unbeatable, if we really try.

What do you want to do

It is the right time to think what to do this year, if we count the calendar starting from these days.

This is the discussion during the dinner with two of my best friends, after a nice football game.

"I would like to learn something new and I might consider changing my occupation." I have not heard of learning for quite something. The context of which is purely for the sake of knowledge and skills, and not for any promotion or money. 

"What do you want to do? 

The first thing comes to my mind is of course passing the exam. I have been recently buried by the examination book. To say the least I am more hardworking than the time I had in HKCEE (may be not, there are a lot of things to do apart from study now).

But is this the thing I want to do?

I dont have a clue.

Once upon a time, someone asked me after meal, what I wanted to do. And I out of instinct told her as followed:

"I just wanna to walk with you."

Cycling

I am sure you have seen the photo of Albert Einstein riding a bicycle. It is always inspirational and you will feel like you have learnt something eternal from it.

The first thing you learn about is that he was enjoying the cycling, wth his smiling face.

I also recognised a similar face when I walked back home one day, when a cycling old-man moving towards me. He looked really happy.

Did he invent or realise some new physical law like Albert did? Probably not. But he was really enjoy what he was doing. That was the reason he was happy.

I wish I could have the face of him.

Cold

The end is near. I have never experienced a colder Hong Kong in my life. Not many people can bear the temperature at such without a good heater. I could not sleep at night when the only one heater was operated inside my dad's room. Shivered and trembled, I never managed to sleep in the night.

My mum, who had to get out of her bed to bath her legs in hot water, told me it was actually harsh for everyone in this condition.

So it was reasonable to let the kids to stay at home and skip the class?

"I remembered the situation was much tough when I was young in China. It was the same cold cold night, but we did not have enough clothing. You simply could not imagine how adverse it was, but that has been the norm those days."

"When you were in poverty, you could only endure the cold."

I wish I inherit some of her courage so I can face up with my great challenge this year. I need not just the knowledge, but the mentality to fight.

Blame Louis Van Gaal, blame wayne rooney, blame everyone. The club has really losing the aura to have the stylish football they used to have. The hitrate of video in youtube broadcasting the old times has never been so high, and our missing to the legendary players and the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson has never been so deep.

The fate of manchester united and I were also linked together, and I hoped, we can get ourselves up and stand tall to the future, in this cold cold night.
